Fishtail Mani 2
Another Fishtail Mani! Told ya I loved these. I used Orly - Frisky (also told you this was my favorite summer blue lol!) with Essie - Good as Gold & Sinful Colors - Snow Me White. I've really been liking golds mixed with aquas, turquoises, and corals.

Khloe Kardashian Inspired Mani
So Khloe Kardashian uploaded a picture to her Instagram recently of her manicure. So simple, but so fabulous at the same time. I'm not a huge fan of the Kardashian's but I do get suckered into looking at pictures they upload on Instagram, not gonna lie. This is the picture Khloe uploaded
For my mani I wanted to use a polish I haven't used before that I had recently bought. I used Essie - Knockout Pout which I will definitely be using a lot more of next summer. I used Sinful Colors - Black on Black and a Kiss nail art polish in silver.
I took this picture with my phone but honestly I think my cellphone takes better pictures with my camera. What kind of camera do you guys use to take pictures of your nails? I'm looking to get a new one & I have no clue what camera to get! I also just used my Lush Lemony Flutter on my cuticles which is why they look so oily lol.

St. Patrick's Day Nails!
I don't really celebrate St. Patrick's Day.. I don't really know why.. I'm Italian but you know everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day lol.. This year I'm not celebrating either, I have a Sweet 16 that night but I still wanted to do some fun St. Patrick's Day mani's. I'm putting both of them in one post because St. Patrick's Day is tomorrow!
For the first one I just painted my nails green with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Green With Envy (I've never used this before so I'm glad I got to use it with this mani). I painted my ring finger orange with Essie's Orange, It's Obvious from the Spring 2012 Collection. I also put gold glitter on my ring finger using Sephora by OPI Only Gold for Me. Then I drew little shamrocks on the rest of my fingers using Sinful Colors San Francisco using a toothpick, which was a little difficult because the polish is sheer, so I had to keep going over the shamrocks. Here are the pics..
For my other mani I painted all of my nails in Sinful Colors San Francisco. Using a toothpick and a dotting tool I drew a little pot of gold using Sinful Colors Black on Black & Revlon Gold Coin. Then I drew a rainbow using Sinful Colors - Ruby Ruby, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Mellow Yellow, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Blue Me Away, Wet n Wild - On a Trip, & Essie - Orange, It's Obvious.
Hope you guys enjoy your St. Patrick's Day! & post a link if you did any fun St. Patrick's Day nail designs, I love to see them!

Funky Fingers - Paparazzi
I've never seen this nail polish brand anywhere but my mom got me a couple of bottles for Christmas and this is my first time using them. Supposedly Funky Fingers is made by the same company who makes Color Club nail polishes. Do any of you have Funky Fingers nail polishes? I love the name of the brand and the shape of the bottles. Paparazzi is little blue & purple glitters in a clear jelly base. It doesn't go on very opaque. The pictures have two coats on top of Sinful Colors Black on Black. I love the way glitters look on top of black nail polish. It's a cute mani & I definitely need to try my other Funky Fingers polishes out!

Taping Mani
Lauren Conrad posted a picture on Twitter of her friend's manicure & it looked so fabulous I had to try it. Now I'm seeing it every where on people's blogs lol.. I got this nail polish for Christmas and never used it so I figured I could use it in this mani. For my base I used Sinful Colors Black on Black with Essie's Matte About You over it. Then I used painter's tape because I feel like it makes my lines my precise than regular tape. For the triangles I used a nail polish from Forever 21's Love & Beauty line. I personally love Forever 21's nail polish, it's affordable & the quality isn't bad at all. I unfortunately do not know the name of it because the sticker on the back was ripped off. It has super tiny holographic glitter in a clear jelly base. You definitely need a couple of coats for it to be opaque. I has a problem with my matte top coat. For some reason it made my nail polish dent and left white dots on my nails when it dried. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else. You'll probably be able to see it in the pictures.

New Year Nails!
I can't believe how long I haven't been on here! I'm so sorry! I just haven't found the time with the holidays but I promise I will be blogging a lot more! So let's start with the manicure I did for New Years Eve. I wanted something glitzy but not too crazy. I decided to try a design that I've never tried before. I used tape for this manicure. Here's how it looks:
I painted my pointer and ring finger in the color Silver from Forever 21's nail polish line Love & Beauty; and I painted my middle finger and pinky in Revlon's Gold Coin. Then I used painter's tape because I really didn't want to get any nail polish underneath the tape and since it was my first time doing this I didn't trust myself using regular scotch tape. I didn't go out to buy it I had it in my house because I'm painting my room over. So I cut strips of the tape to make thin lines and I taped them over my nails when it was 100% dry. Then I painted over everything with Sinful Color's Black on Black. When that dried I slowly and carefully peeled the tape off. It didn't come out 100% perfect but I think it came out pretty good. I got a lot of compliments on this manicure from people who saw it. It's not glitzy and glittery but it definitely catches the eye and makes a statement. I'm looking forward to trying more designs using tape. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday & I wish you all a happy & healthy new year! :)

Day 7 - Black & White Nails
Yay! One week down! I could not figure out what to do for black and white nails. I didn't want to do something boring, I wanted to do something fun. I settled with panda bears. Here's how it came out...
I painted all of my fingers Black on Black by Sinful Colors, except my ring finger. For my ring finger I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Quick Sand. I couldn't paint it black or white because then you wouldn't have been able to see the panda on top of it, so I went with a neutral color. For the white I used Sinful Colors - Snow Me White. I used a dotting tool for the designs and a thin nail polish brush.

Matte Zebra Print
The very first nail art I did was zebra print. The idea popped into my head out of no where and my first attempt at it was horrid; it was random stripes all over my nail, looked nothing like zebra print, and I thought it was the greatest thing ever. Practice makes perfect & I think I have the zebra print down to almost perfect. But this one has a little twist. I got this idea from a photo I saw on Tumblr. I painted my nails black - Black on Black by Sinful Colors - & used the matte top coat from Essie. I made all my fingers matte except my two ring fingers. Then I used a black polish with a thin brush from Art Club and made the zebra stripes black, but they were shiny! This is how it came out.
BUT I got bored with my ring finger, of course, so what better way to make something more fun than to add glitter! :) This is my finished product:
